Lean Startup Circle RTP March Meetup
Posted February 26th, 2010 by brianHave you heard of the Lean Startup? It's a group of methods for starting and running a business, and it has its roots in lean manufacturing, customer development and agile methodology. We're kicking off with a primer on Lean Startups by Nathaniel Talbott of Terralien; no need to bring anything except a desire to learn.
As part of this first meeting we'll be soliciting feedback on where you'd like to see the group go, so come armed with any suggestions or thoughts you have.

Coworking is coming to Durham, North Carolina.
Posted February 17th, 2010 by brianDurham Coworking will be an office environment designed to meet the needs of entrepreneurs, freelancers, and mobile workers.
The workforce is changing. Every year more and more people work outside the traditional office environment. Laptop computers, mobile devices, and wireless Internet access enable millions to work from home or set up shop in a cafe. But sometimes that mobility comes at a price: the distractions of home can interfere with work, and the local coffee shop may not be the best place to meet with potential investors in your start-up.
That’s where Durham Coworking comes in. Durham Coworking will be a shared professional workspace with a community atmosphere, designed to meet the needs of microbusinesses, freelancers, home-office workers, entrepreneurs, start-ups, tech workers, writers, designers, and other professionals whose work doesn’t fit into a normal office template.

New Daily and Monthly Rates
Posted January 21st, 2010 by brianStarting February 1, 2010, some of our pricing will change. The One Day Coworker will be $15.00, and the Monthly Coworker will be $150.00. All Monthly Coworkers who have paid for the service before February 1, 2010, can continue to pay the old rate of $100 a month. I offer this as a THANK YOU for your support of Carrboro Creative Coworking.
These changes were made to strengthen CCC and help make it profitable. It wasn't an easy thing for me to do. I work very hard to provide affordable options. That is my most important goal. I hope you will still find these rates a value.
Remember that your first day at Carrboro Coworking is still free! One day is all it takes to discover what working here can do for you. Thank you for working with us and being part of our workspace community! As always if you have any questions please contact me.
